Getting Through Isys 210 At Texas A&M

Summer 2017, I decided it was a good idea to take 15 hours of course work. It sounded like a good idea to get to 75 accumulated hours by the end of my freshman year, thereby setting me up to qualify for my Aggie ring after 3 semesters at Tamu. I signed up for Calculus and Information Systems during session 1.

If my first year at Tamu didn't refine my time management skills, the summer of 2017 did. Cramming these to heavy classes into one month while running my business has left me a little lacking of sleep, but I am thankful to be making progress forward.

Pushing myself to new extremes and accomplishing goals makes me feel successful. Testing what I am capable of has left me with a more satisfying feeling than if I had just worked all summer. Managing myself and my responsibilities enables me to be able to perform in even more strenuous situations that are sure to come in the future.

Not to mention, the Aggie ring is going to make all these late nights and head aches worth it.

Gig'em and God bless,

Jordan Newman
